The breakfast had complimentary selection of items. I liked that the room was neat and cheap with 3 double beds as well as basics. Location: the hotel was near to the main train and bus terminals and public transport and NANTOU which connects to Sun Moon Lake.

We had a great stay at a centrally located hotel in old Taichung. The room was upgraded for free and had a stunning view of the mountains. The buffet breakfast was delicious and the hotel provided free parking nearby. The location was convenient for transportation options, except for the high-speed train. it was a wonderful experience at Palmer Hotel.
Everything we needed was provided, couldn't ask for more. 👌

I recently stayed at Palmer Hotel in Taichung for my travels in Taiwan. The location was convenient, close to bus companies for easy transportation to Sun Moon Lake and a short walk to Yizhong Night Market. The check-in process was quick and efficient. The room on the 16th floor had a stunning city view, clean and comfortable beds, and a well-lit bathroom with toiletries provided. The complimentary breakfast at the ground floor cafe was a nice touch.
Would recommend this hotel.
